Utah

This past weekend I made a quick trip down to Utah. Life in Boise was getting way too stressful and weekend with my girlfriends sounded like a great idea. Amy made the cute little onzies for the babies, which totally made my day. Thursday and Friday I ran errands with Amy and helped her out with the babies. She is a great mom and does such a great job with the babies. I'm sure her arms are getting quite the workout, my little chicken wings barely managed. Saturday my friend Shari had her baby shower and I'm glad I got to see her and some of my other friends. I also spent some time with my single friends, Clinton and Brittany. Clinton is always good for relationship and political talk, we had a good time.

Anyway, thanks girls for making the weekend so great. Chels your house is beautiful, hope the cruise is a blast. Next time I'll have to spend time with Stacy and Hailey, since I missed you girls this time around.

Here's a better picture of Courtney, and of course I had to put one up of Lindsey. I went to Ben and Becky's last night to hang out and as usual had so much fun. Lindsey is so active and funny to watch. When I got to the house she was playing in her room, but as soon as she saw me she came running in with her little duck slippers so excited to see me. It totally made my day.

Oh what a night!

Friday night I had another girls' night with Nathan 's sister and sister-in-laws. We had originally planned on eating, painting our nails and watching a movie. But we only got as far as eating. It had been so long since we had gotten to talk to each other that we talked the whole time. There's something about a warm fire and yummy food.

Anyway I didn't get home until 3 in the morning. Emily and Rachael are really brave considering they have little kids to take care of. Thanks girls for such a fun night. Rachael "Ray" you are a great cook and I want to see how every one's calenders are progressing. :)

baby Courtney

Ben and Becky had their second girl Monday afternoon. She is so cute, and looks just like Lindsey. I guess I was thinking she might look a little different. I took Lindsey while Ben and Becky were at the hospital. I give props to all you moms out there. Chasing around a little two year old is a lot of work, especially when you get very little sleep because they keep waking you up, but are ready to go at 6 a.m. the next day. Well, I guess my time will come, but for right now I am OK with being the doting aunt. Anyway, it will be fun over the next couple of months to watch Courtney take on her own personality.

New Blogger

Well after lots of deliberation and a pep talk from Amy I decided to start a blog. Since most of my girlfriends are married, living in Utah and have blogs of their own this is probably the best way to stay in touch and find out what's going on in everyone lives. So I guess stay tuned.................
